Youth Union of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology summarizes work in 2023 and implements plan for 2024
Attending the Conference, on the side of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) were Mr. Pham Tuan Huy - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue - President of the Trade Union; Mr. Pham Thanh Son - Chairman of the Veterans Association, Mr. Vu Duc Hoang - Chief of the Party Committee Office; Ms. Chu Thi Hoai Thu - Deputy Chief of the VAST Office; and Mr. Hoang Ha - Deputy Head of Technology Application and Development Department.
On the side of the HCYU of Central-level Public Agencies’ Block were Mr. Do Duc Hanh - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organization and Inspection Committee; Representatives of the Youth Union of a number of units under the the HCYU of Central-level Public Agencies’ Bloc: Youth Union of the Party Central Committee Office; Youth Union of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Vietnam Television Youth Union; Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Central Propaganda Department Youth Union.
In 2023, VAST Youth Union has successfully completed the tasks set out in the Year's Work Program. The movements and activities have many innovations and creativity in both content and implementation methods.
The Standing Committee of the Youth Union has organized and guided affiliated Youth Union facilities to carry out and participate in activities such as: VAST League football tournament, Youth science conference, innovation activities, Green Sunday Program, return to the source Program, Summer Volunteer Program, Implementation of the Golden Globe Science and Technology Awards and many other programs to celebrate major holidays of the year.
Scientific research is the number one important political task of the VAST Youth, therefore each officer and youth union member always prioritizes performing their individual and unit's professional tasks. Youth union members actively and effectively participate in research topics as well as other professional tasks. Many comrades are project managers at all levels, managers of contracts and projects; is the author and co-author of many scientific works published in domestic and international journals, of patents and useful solutions.
Summarizing the emulation and commendation work in 2023, the VAST Youth Union is honored to have 01 comrade receive the Golden Globe Science and Technology Award, 04 comrades are commended for Advanced youth following President Ho Chi Minh’s wills. Certificate of Merit from the HCYU of Central-level Public Agencies’ Bloc for 2 collectives and 4 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the summer 2023 youth volunteer campaign, Certificate of Merit from the HCYU of Central-level Public Agencies’ Bloc for 10 collectives and 11 individuals achieved outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and the youth movement. At the same time, the VAST Youth Union also awarded Certificates of Merit to 25 collectives and 160 individuals of affiliated HCYU.
