Youth Union of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology announces contributions to Uncle Ho and carries out extracurricular political activities at K9 - Da Chong historical relic site

On September 29, 2023, the Academy Youth Union organized an incense-offering, flower-offering and merit-giving ceremony to Uncle Ho and a conference on extracurricular political activities for key Youth Union officials at the K9 historical relic site - Da Chong, Ba Vi district, Hanoi city.

Attending the program were Mr. Pham Tuan Huy, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Academy Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, President of the Academy Trade Union; and Mr. Pham Van Nghia, Member of the Executive Committee of the Academy's Veterans Association.

On the side of the Academy Youth Union were Mr. Phan Ke Son, Member of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Central Agencies, Secretary of the Academy Youth Union; Mr. Pham Thanh Dang, Deputy Secretary of the Academy Youth Union, Chairman of the Academy Youth Union Inspection Committee; Mr. Dang Quoc Dai, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Academy Youth Union and comrades in the Standing Committee, Executive Committee of the Academy Youth Union, and nearly 40 comrades who are key Youth Union officials of the Academy Youth Union.

At the K9 Relic Site, the delegation offered incense to express their respect and deep gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of the Party, State and People of Vietnam, and activist. An eminent revolutionary of the international Communist and workers' movements, he devoted and sacrificed his life for the cause of national liberation, fighting for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and the world, and was honored by the world as a National Liberation Hero and an outstanding cultural celebrity.

On the same day, at the K9 - Da Chong Historical Relic Area Hall, the Academy Youth Union organized a conference on extracurricular political activities for key Union officials. The conference heard a report evaluating the performance of the Youth Union in the first 9 months of 2023 and the plan to deploy the Youth Union's activities and youth movement in 2024; and heard 02 seminars on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and style.

Through the Conference, the Youth Union Institute encouraged affiliated Youth Union establishments to deploy learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style into work practice, as well as union movement work. At the unit, proactively pioneer in carrying out political and professional tasks, successfully carrying out assigned tasks, contributing to the ever-growing Academy.

Within the framework of the program, the delegation offered incense and expressed their respect and gratitude to the heroic martyrs resting at Da Chong Martyrs Cemetery before ending the meaningful journey of the Academy’s youth.
