Vietnam National Space Centre cooperates with Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City High Technology Zone

Addressing the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Le Hoai Quoc, head of the Ho Chi Minh City High Technology Zone, expressed his happiness to cooperate with the Vietnam National Space Centre. He hoped that the two sides would obtain new heights in satellite technology science and GIS technology in state management.
The agreement will focus on the following objectives: Building and transferring Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to serve the management of planning and using natural resources, water quality observation, monitoring information on environmental changes; Building the system of common use and shared information on satellite photos on different sources integrated by Vietnam National Satellite Centre; Developing the environment for application and space for technology science, towards promoting the network of experts in satellite technology application on GIS, contributing to making policies on developing the academic studying environment; Building and developing cooperation on science and technology research to create direct new technology application products and solve key science and technology demands of Ho Chi Minh City and the region, giving technology support to service business models on GIS.
