Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology Youth Union receives inspection team from the Standing Committee of Central Agencies Bloc Youth Union 2023
On the side of the VAST, the meeting drew the participation of Assoc. Dr. Tran Tuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of VAST Party Committee and Vice President of VAST; Mr. Phan Ke Son, member of the Executive Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc Youth Union, and Secretary of VAST Youth Union; Mr. Dang Quoc Dai, Vice Secretary of VAST Youth Union; and other comrades in the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of VAST Youth Union.
On the side of the inspection team, there were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Diep, Deputy Secretary of the Central Agencies Bloc Youth Union, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc Youth Union, and head of the team; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khoi, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc Youth Union, and head of the Central Agencies Bloc Youth Union Party Committee’s Commission of Popularization and Education; Mr. Do Duc Hanh, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc Youth Union, Deputy Head of the Office the Central Agencies Bloc Youth Union, and Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc Youth Union; and Mr. Than Thanh Tung, specialist of the Organization and Inspection Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc Youth Union.
On behalf of VAST Youth Union, Mr. Phan Ke Son, member of the Executive Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc Youth Union, and Secretary of VAST Youth Union, presented a report on the implementation of the union's 2023 work program with the theme "Year of digital transformation of the Union's activities", the thorough implementation of the action plan to implement the Resolution of the 12th National Youth Union Congress, the Resolution of the 4th Bloc Youth Union Congress, the Resolution of the Youth Union at all levels for the term 2022-2027, and the implementation of planning, training and fostering union officials at all levels; and the work of the Union to protect the ideological foundation of the Party, and fight against wrong and hostile views.
The inspection team highly appreciated the results of the implementation of activities that the VAST Youth Union has achieved in the past time, and suggested additional contents to complete the report, as well as the tasks to be implemented in the next period.
On behalf of the inspection team, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Diep acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of VAST Youth Union in implementing the activities of the first 6 months of 2023, with many initiatives to maintain activities of the Union. He also suggested that the VAST Youth Union continue to well implement the activities in the last 6 months of the year. The members of the Inspection Delegation frankly discussed the achievements, shortcomings, difficulties, limitations, and proposals and recommendations to VAST Youth Union.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Tuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of VAST Party Committee and Vice President of VAST, on behalf of VAST Party Committee and leaders praised the results of the Youth Union's activities in the past period, emphasizing the focus of the VAST's activities to follow the political tasks of the unit and coordinate with movement activities in order to build a strong union organization, meeting the requirements of the digital transformation period.
On behalf of the VAST Youth Union, Mr. Phan Ke Son, Secretary of VAST Youth Union, received suggestions and thanked Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Tuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of VAST Party Committee, Vice President of VAST; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Diep, Deputy Secretary of the the Central Agencies Bloc Youth Union, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc Youth Union, and other comrades in the delegation who have always paid attention to, facilitated and coordinated implementing and organizing activities of the VAST Youth Union. He also expressed his hope that VAST Youth Union will receive more attention and closer direction to promote their activities and movements.
