Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology Works with the Working Delegation of Quang Ninh Province

On May 22, 2025, in Hanoi, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) held a working session with the working delegation of Quang Ninh province, led by Comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong, Director of the Quang Ninh Department of Science and Technology, in order to exchange and promote cooperation in scientific research, technology transfer, and the implementation of science and technology tasks serving the socio-economic development of the locality.

Receiving and working with the delegation on VAST side were Prof. Dr. Tran Tuan Anh, Vice President of VAST; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Tien Dung, Head of the Department of Science and Technology; and Dr. Nguyen Tran Dien, Deputy Head of the Department of Science and Technology.

At the working session, VAST introduced 112 technology products ready for transfer to units in Quang Ninh province; at the same time, it proposed 64 scientific issues with high scientific and practical value, suitable for implementation in the locality in the coming time.

Representatives of the departments and sectors of Quang Ninh province exchanged many professional contents related to the demand for applying science and technology in the fields of management, production, and socio-economic development. The delegates expressed their wish to continue close coordination with VAST to research and finalize the science and technology tasks commissioned right in 2026 and in subsequent phases.

Just before the working session, the delegation visited the Exhibition area introducing products and achievements of science, technology, and innovation of VAST and visited the Vietnam National Museum of Nature
