Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology works with Technical Assistance Project Management Board "Vietnam Climate Innovation Center"

The Aus4Innovation (A4I) program is a bilateral development program between the Australian Government and the Vietnamese Government with the aim of supporting Vietnam in promoting the development of science, technology and innovation; so that science, technology and innovation can make more and more direct and stronger contributions to socio-economic development.

Implementing the work plan agreed between the Aus4Innovation Program and the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Technical Assistance Project Management Board “Vietnam Climate Innovation Center" (VCIC) organized a working program between A4I's commercialization policy expert and a number of typical science and technology organizations.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed the main contents:
- Introducing international experience in promoting the commercialization of research results;
- Discussing advantages and disadvantages in commercializing research results;
- Suggesting some solutions to promote commercialization of research results;
- Suggesting an intermediary organization model with the function of commercializing research results and A4I's support in building the capacity of intermediary organizations.
With lively exchanges and discussions between the two sides along with specific and practical suggestions, the working session was successfully held.
