Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology’s additional scientific journal officially named on Scopus system

On May 4, 2022, the Vietnam Journal of Science and Technology (VJST) submitted an application to the Scopus citation system. On July 22, 2022, the representative of the citation system sent a letter to notify that the Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board (CSAB) had completed its review and proposed VJST be included in the Scopus citation system.

Nearly 6 months after submitting the application, Scopus conducted an assessment according to the standards. On December 17, 2022, VJST was officially listed on this prestigious citation system. Since then, the Journal begins to count citations and it is hoped that the Journal will soon have an international citation index.

VJST publishes 6 issues per year, 132 pages per issue, entirely in English, in the fields of natural science and technology, mainly as follows: Natural Products, Materials, Environment, Electronics - Telecommunications, Mechanical - Mechatronics.

As of 2022, the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology has 6 of 12 scientific journals cited on Scopus system, including: Advances in Natural Sciences: Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Vietnam Journal of Mathematics, Acta Mathematica Vietnamica, Vietnam Journal of Earth Sciences, Vietnam Journal of Chemistry and Vietnam Journal of Science and Technology.
