Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology participates in Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam 2023
This is a national-scale science and technology event, a bridge to promote the application, technology transfer and innovation for businesses and local organizations across the country, facilitating step by step the application of S&T in practice, improving the competitiveness of enterprises, bringing practical efficiency to enterprises, and really making S&T become the driving force of the country's economy.
In addition to the strength of developing basic research with international publications, VAST has always focused on promoting application by supporting the commercialization of research results; bringing effective applied research results in practice, contributing to solving problems of the community, businesses and society.
At the exhibition, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology brings to display and introduce products that are the results of scientific research and technology application in accordance with practical conditions of Vietnam. These are also practical technologies for Industry 4.0, such as:
In the field of new materials: for the first time, bringing the Hydrogen Energy Printing Event – an important solution in energy transition, robots for industrial plants, concrete materials, metal spraying technology, equipment in especially harsh conditions and modern equipment serving in the fields of healthcare, agriculture, plasticization technology, 3D printing and nano.
In the field of digital transformation: many Internet of things systems associated with Artificial Intelligence to serve all aspects of life such as Internet data monitoring and synthesis system for management and administration, Information system for monitoring agricultural information management, irrigation and biodiversity, earthquake early warning system...
For the biotechnology industry, which is associated with Vietnam's biodiversity, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology brought to the event technology products for breeding endangered organisms (corals), offering suitable farming processes to create unique products (soft corals, Sea anemone, fish), products that create a green economy towards a circular economy in our country. This is also the field of many products directly serving social life such as products for protecting human health (functional foods), serving agriculture to minimize environmental pollution impacts (nano preparations, microbiological preparations).
In addition, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology also brings to the event products in the field of training and publishing.
It can be seen that the products brought to the event by Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology have shown the shift of the Institute's activities, from asymptotic basic research to technology development applications for human life, towards a circular economy, rational use of resources, disaster prevention, and sustainable environmental protection.
At the event, nearly 200 hundred S&T booths of many innovative enterprises and institutes, schools and associations in different fields were displayed and introduced to delegates. In addition, within the framework of the event, there is also a forum to introduce technology highlights and new technology trends in materials, green energy technology, health technology and industry 4.0 technology. In particular, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology brings 8 technologies introduced at the spotlight of Institute of Biotechnology, Institute of Tropical Engineering, Institute of Oceanography, Vietnam National Space Center, Institute of Information Technology, Institute of Materials Science, and Center for Research and Technology Transfer. Some other exciting side activities also took place such as consulting and connecting technology, providing information on technology supply and technology experts.
