Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology mass art performance in the Southern region

On August 7-8, 2024, the Trade Union of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology organized a mass art performance in the Southern region to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. The event had 23 performances with seven participating units including joint forces of the Institute of Oceanography and the Nha Trang Institute of Applied Technology Research, the Institute of Chemical Technology, the Institute of Tropical Biology, the Representative Office of Ho Chi Minh City, the Institute of Applied Materials Science and the Central Highlands Institute of Scientific Research.

The performance was previously held every five years. However, this year, it was held again after nine years. This is a meaningful activity to celebrate major holidays, and is also an opportunity for units to exchange and learn from cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers. This creates an atmosphere of competition, solidarity and striving to successfully complete the political tasks of the agency and unit.

This year's performance focuses on the theme of praising the love for the homeland and country, praising the glorious Party, beloved Uncle Ho, praising the traditions of the industry, agency, unit as well as the development of the working class and the Trade Union.

The performance ended successfully with the first prize belonging to the Joint Team of the Institute of Oceanography and the Nha Trang Institute of Applied Technology Research; second prize belonging to the Institute of Chemical Technology; Third Prize belonging to the Institute of Tropical Biology and the Representative Office of Ho Chi Minh City; Consolidation prize belonging to the Institute of Applied Materials Science and the Central Highlands Institute of Scientific Research.
