The delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Van The - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Sector and Prof. Acad. Chau Van Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. Also participating in the delegation were comrades in the Standing Committee of the Bloc's Party Committee, Vice President of VAST, Heads of Party Committee committees, officers of functional departments of the Bloc's Party Committee and Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

Welcoming the delegation at Area K9 were Major General Pham Hai Trung - Head of the Mausoleum Management Board, Commander of the Command to Protect President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; Major General Dinh Quoc Hung - Secretary of the Party Committee of Group 969, Political Commissar of the Command to Protect President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; together with the leaders and commanders of agencies and units in the Mausoleum Management Board and the Mausoleum Protection Command.

In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, the delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers to express their deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh's great contributions and reported to Uncle Ho the achievements the two agencies had made in the past year. The delegation vows to always firmly believe in the Party, unite, continue to promote studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and style, trying to cultivate moral qualities, improve intelligence, work capacity, lead agencies to successfully complete tasks, build strong Party Committees and agencies, and excellently complete all assigned tasks.
