Two young doctors of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology receive Golden Globe Science and Technology Award 2021
The program is annually chaired by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology to discover and honor young talents in the field of science and technology; creating motivation to promote the movement of learning, researching and applying science and technology, contributing to the construction and development of a prosperous and happy country. Over 18 years of organization, the Golden Globe Science and Technology Award has become a more and more prestigious award, attracting thousands of young scientists, inventors, entrepreneurs, and talented young people in the fields of science and technology domestically and abroad.
Dr. Pham Van Trinh, Senior Researcher, Institute of Materials Science, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, was presented the 2021 Golden Globe Science and Technology Award in the field of New Materials Technology
It was an honour for Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology to have 2 young doctors receive the Golden Globe Science and Technology Award in 2021: Dr. Pham Van Trinh - Institute of Materials Science (in the field of New Materials Technology) and Dr. Ninh The Son - Institute of Chemistry (Biotechnology).
Dr. Pham Van Trinh, born in 1986, currently works at the Institute of Materials Science. His main research direction is researching and manufacturing metal-based nanocomposites, reinforced ceramics with nanostructured materials, oriented to applications in the electrical, electronic, machine-building and biomedical industries.
Dr. Trinh has got 01 patent and 01 national utility solution, 48 scientific articles published in international scientific journals, of which 20 articles are in the list of Q1 (12 articles with his own authorship), 13 articles in the list of Q2 (10 articles with his own authorship), 3 articles in the list of Q3, 12 articles in the list of Q4/Scopus (7 articles with his own authorship), 10 scientific articles published in domestic scientific journals (4 articles with his own authorship), 6 scientific articles having been published in international scientific conferences, of which he is the main author of 1 excellent scientific poster at the conference (Poster presentation), and 5 full-text scientific reports published in the proceedings of national conferences/conferences.
He also chaired 7 scientific research projects, including 1 state-level project, 2 ministerial-level projects and 4 grassroots-level projects that were accepted, and guided 3 masters and 3 bachelors.
Dr. Ninh The Son, born in 1988, is currently Deputy Head of Applied Biochemistry Department, Institute of Chemistry. He worked as a doctoral student in Japan with the JSPS grant, completing the training program in two thirds of the time allowed with 6 articles in the list of SCI/SCIE. Currently, he is working as a postdoctoral fellow in Brazil with funding from FAPESP. Dr. Son's main research direction is to research, search, and screen bioactive compounds derived from nature.
He has had 02 national useful solutions, 46 scientific articles published in international scientific journals, of which 6 articles are in the list of Q1 (5 articles with his own authorship), 23 articles are in the list of Q2 (16 articles with his own authorship), 15 articles are in the list of Q3 (10 articles with his own authorship), 2 articles are in the list of Q4/Scopus (2 articles with his own authorship), 18 scientific articles published in domestic scientific journals (3 articles with his own authorship), and 3 scientific articles published in full text in the proceedings of national seminars/conferences. He also chaired 1 grassroots-level project that was accepted, and is participating in many other topics.
He is the author of monograph Prime Archives in Medicine, ISBN code: 978-93-90014-01-9, VIDE LEAF, 2020 (Monograph in English), and author of 01 book chapter (Elservier publisher) and 03 book chapters (Spring publisher) other.
