Training course on state management of the Press

Implementing regulations on management of Science and Technology magazines, on April 24, 2024 in Hanoi, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) coordinated with the Press Department and School of Training and Fostering Information and Communications Management Officers under the Ministry of Information and Communications to open a training course on state management of the Press.

The training course drew the participation of 46 officials who were magazine leaders, a number of members of the Editorial Council, and leaders of some units under the VAST.

The course is built according to the prescribed program. At the lessons, participants listen to lecturers present topics related to the organization and operation of press agencies. In the current period, digital transformation is happening very quickly in all fields, especially the field of press information. Experts have provided updated and useful information to help governing agencies and magazines operate better.

In addition to topics taught directly in class, the course program also includes field surveys at the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), discussions between leaders of press agencies and participants.

Previously, in February 2024, VAST sent 11 officers to attend the K16 course at the School of Training and Fostering Information and Communications Management Officers.
