Trade Union of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology organizes program to welcome Tet and Spring

With the consent of the leaders of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), on January 17, 2025, the Trade Union of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST Trade Union) organized the Program of Giving and Receiving Tet 2025 Gifts. This annual activity aims to visit and give gifts to officials and employees in difficult circumstances; shows the concern of the leaders of VAST and VAST Trade Union for officials and employees in difficult circumstances when Tet and spring come.

The program presented 100 gifts to 100 officials, employees, and trade union members in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 1,000,000 VND in cash and 01 gift bag worth 300,000 VND (including 30 gifts from the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union and 70 gifts from VAST Trade Union).

Comrade Pham Tuan Huy, Standing Deputy Secretary of VAST Party Committee and Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tam, Chairman of VAST Trade Union, on behalf of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, presented gifts to trade union members through representatives of the Executive Boards of the affiliated grassroots trade unions

Previously, VAST Trade Union also issued Plan 141/KH-CĐVHL dated November 11, 2024 on organizing activities to care for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 and implementing the online Trade Union Tet Market Program 2025, VAST Trade Union was supported by the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union with 50 vouchers worth 500,000 VND VND/1 voucher. VAST Trade Union has also allocated to union members of units in the Academy to buy meaningful and practical gifts at the Trade Union Tet Market.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tam, Chairman of VAST Trade Union said that “Visiting and encouraging officials, employees, and union members in difficult circumstances has truly become a meaningful activity, with profound humanity, showing the affection, care, and sharing of VAST leaders and VAST Trade Union to union members and employees. Although the value is not much, it is hoped that this meaningful gift will contribute to warming the hearts of union members and employees every time Tet comes, spring comes. Thereby, this contribute to building a spirit of solidarity and attachment to agencies and units, becoming a source of motivation to help union members and employees overcome difficulties in life, and successfully complete assigned tasks”./.
