The State Scientific Council on long-term preservation and absolute protection of President Ho Chi Minh’s body holds January 2023 meeting

Attending the meeting were members of the Council and Head of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Guard High Command. At the meeting, Major General, Dr. Bui Hai Son, Acting Director of the management board and Commander of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Guard High Command, and member of the Council, reported on the Council's performance in 2022 and directions for the operation in 2023. In 2022, the Council promoted collective intelligence and responsibility to complete all tasks, advising the Prime Minister to direct the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum management board to successfully complete the task of long-term preservation and absolute protection of the body of President Ho Chi Minh; successfully organized a conference summarizing 30 years of direct cooperation between the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum management board and the All-Russian Research Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (VILAR).

At the meeting, the members agreed to evaluate the operation results in 2022 and specify the key contents in 2023 in order to improve the quality of the Council's activities, effectively serving the task of long-term preservation of the body of President Ho Chi Minh.

Concluding the meeting, Professor Academician Chau Van Minh, Chairman of the Council, affirmed the results in the implementation of medical and technical tasks achieved by the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum management board as well as the outstanding results of the Council in the past year.

The delegation offers incense to commemorate heroic martyrs

Within the framework of the working program, members of the Council paid homage to President Ho Chi Minh at the Mausoleum; and offered incense in memory of Heroic Martyrs at the Monument of Heroic Martyrs in Bac Son.
