Ninh Khac Ban, Head of the International Cooperation Department, together with leaders from some research institutes under VAST: the Institute of Natural Products Chemistry, the Institute of Chemistry, the Institute of Geography, the Institute of Geophysics, the Institute of Ecology and Biological Resources, the Institute of Biological Technology, Institute of Marine Geology and Geophysics, the Institute of Marine Environment and Resources, the Institute of Information Technology, the Institute of Geology, the Institute of Energy Science, and the Institute of Tropical Technology.

After talks about cooperation prospects in the future between VAST and FEB RAS, professor Chau Van Minh and PhD. Valentin I.Sergienko, on behalf of VAST and FEB RAS, signed an agreement to establish the FEB RAS and VAST technical and scientific cooperation and development center.

The center, once being put into operation, will promote the cooperation and serve the development of the scientific and technological sector of the two sides, and further increase the traditional relationship between Vietnamese and Russian scientists.
During the ceremony, professor Chau Van Minh, VAST President, awarded VAST’s certificate of merit to PhD. Valentin I.Sergienko for his contributions in promoting and increasing the bilateral cooperation between VAST and FEB RAS.

After the signing ceremony, the delegation from the FEB RAS will visit and work with some agencies under the VAST, such as: the Institute of Natural Products Chemistry, the Institute of Chemistry, the Institute of Marine Geology and Geophysics, the Institute of Tropical Technology, the Institute of Geography, the Institute of Ecology and Biological Resources, the Institute of Biological Technology, the Institute of Geology, the Institute of Geophysics, the Institute of Information Technology, the Nha Trang Institute of Technology Research and Application, the Institute of Oceanography, and the Institute of Chemical Technology.
