The 2026 Exhibition on Products and Achievements in Science, Technology, and Innovation: The Imprint of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology

From May 18 to 25, 2026, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology is organizing the Exhibition "The Imprint of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology" on the occasion of Vietnam Science, Technology, and Innovation Day (May 18), towards the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday and the 51st anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST).

The exhibition is a practical and meaningful activity to introduce the prominent scientific, technological, and innovation achievements of VAST throughout its more than half-century journey of construction and development. At the same time, this is also an occasion to honor the persistent contributions of the community of scientists to the socio-economic development of the country, contributing to spreading the spirit of innovation and reaffirming the role of science and technology in the fast and sustainable development of the nation.

Speaking at the opening of the Exhibition, Prof. Dr. Tran Tuan Anh, Vice President of VAST, emphasized that through 51 years of construction and development, VAST has affirmed its position as the country's leading scientific research institution, playing a core role in basic research, high-technology development, high-quality human resource training, and scientific and technological policy consultancy to serve socio-economic development.

According to Prof. Dr. Tran Tuan Anh, in the coming time, VAST will continue to promote basic research aligned with applied research; focus on developing strategic and core technologies; foster the innovation ecosystem; strengthen linkages among institutes, universities, and enterprises; and expand international cooperation to meet the country's development requirements in the new phase.

With the theme "The Imprint of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology", the exhibition space reenacts the 51-year journey of construction and development of VAST through specialized display subdivisions, introducing 08 characteristic research blocks including: Basic research and training; Earth sciences; Life sciences; Materials science; Energy and environment; Robotics; Space technology; and Cooperation and development. In addition, the exhibition also showcases major awards, prominent achievements, and a collection of documentary photos marking important milestones in the formation and development process of VAST.
