Technology supply–demand matching session at the Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong City
Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Deputy Director of Hai Phong City Department of Science and Technology stated that the session was organised to enhance connections between policymakers, scientists, and enterprises, thereby contributing to the effective utilisation and application of scientific and technological research outcomes to serve the socio-economic development of Hai Phong City. This is also a practical activity to promote consultancy, technology transfer, and commercialisation of technologies and technical processes; while simultaneously supporting and encouraging enterprises to invest in technological innovation, receive technology transfers, and proactively place research orders with institutes, universities, and science and technology organisations.
Dr Nguyen Tran Dien – Deputy Head of the Department for Technology Application and Deployment, further shared that six specialised research units from the Academy participated in this supply–demand matching session. The scientific and technological products presented by these units had been carefully selected and demonstrated high practical applicability, making them viable for commercialisation or technology transfer to enterprises and other interested organisations. Noteworthy among them are products from the Institute of Materials Science, Institute of Chemistry, Institute of Information Technology, Institute of Physics, Centre for Research and Development of High Technologies, and the Institute of Energy and Environmental Science and Technology.
