Overview of the event
Opening the event, Vice President Chu Hoang Ha emphasized that basic research is assessed as a premise and basis for developing scientific and technological research not only in Vietnam but also in the world. The year 2022 has been selected by the United Nations as the "International Year of Basic Science for Sustainable Development" which focuses on links between basic sciences and the Sustainable Development Goals with the message "a fundamental understanding of nature more effectively implement action programs for the benefit of all."
