Signing ceremony between VAST and Pusan National University (the Republic of Korea)
According to the agreement, the sides pledged to support each other in the fields of education and training, science and technology research, including exchanging postgraduate and science staff, organizing science programmes and projects, seminars, and exchanging researching results and equipment.
On behalf of VAST, Prof. Chau Van Minh, president, appreciated cooperation between the two sides. He hoped that based on the agreement, VAST and Pusan National University (the Republic of Korea) will promote relevant activities.
Prof. Chau Van Minh affirmed that together with the long-term cooperation tradition between VAST, study units and universities of the Republic of Korea, the event continued to raise the traditional friendship between the sides to further heighten and improve bilateral cooperation in different fields, especially in education and training.

Prof. KIM Ki-Seob, headmaster of Pusan National University, expressed his desire to establish long-term and effective cooperation bringing benefit to both sides. It is hoped that after this agreement, the sides would move towards realising the content of the agreement and see specific achievements
During the working visit, the delegation from Pusan National University visited several units under VAST, such as the Institute of Materials Science, the Institute of Chemistry, and the Institute of Tropical Technology.
