Signing Ceremony of Recruitment Commitment between Vietnam Airlines Engineering Company Ltd (VAECO) and USTH
The event drew the participation of Prof. Jean-Marc Lavest - Principal Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Mai Thanh – Principal of USTH; Mr. Tran Quoc Hoai - General Director of VAECO, Mr. Tran Viet Quang - Head of Human Resources Organization Department of VAECO and Mr. Vu Truong Thanh - Director of VAECO Training Center.
According to this commitment, VAECO will recruit 22 bachelors of aeronautical engineering from USTH (class of 2018-2022) if students complete the B1-oriented bachelor program, receive a bachelor's degree from USTH and have a training certificate on basic aircraft maintenance level B1 of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (in order of priority, Certificate of Good and Good).
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Tran Quoc Hoai, General Director of VAECO, said, "Given the heavy impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the world aviation industry in general and Vietnam in particular have difficulties. However, I believe that the aviation industry will soon recover and grow again, so the job opportunities of aeronautical engineering bachelors are very promising in the near future.” Professor Jean-Marc Lavest also expressed his belief: “The cooperation between USTH and VAECO opens up opportunities and job prospects for new graduates of aeronautical engineering of the University, meeting the needs of the rapidly growing market in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.”
