Scientific research support and scholarship fund sponsored by Novatech Group
On January 17, 2024, the Graduate University of Science and Technology organized the scientific research support and scholarship announcement ceremony sponsored by Novatech Group. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Oh Choon Teak - Chairman of Novatech Group, Mr. Kim Kihyun - General Director of Novatech Vina Co., Ltd.; Prof. Vu Dinh Lam - Director of the Graduate University of Science and Technology, Prof. Nguyen Van Tuyen - Chairman of the University Council, Prof. Nguyen Dai Hung - Chairman of the Science and Training Council; Representatives of leaders of units under the Academy and graduate students and graduate students of the University.
The “Scientific research support and scholarship fund” will sponsor a number of scientific research topics/tasks at the Graduate University of Science and Technology. It is expected that the Fund will grant about 25 scholarships/year (including 20 scholarships for outstanding students and post-graduate students and 4-5 scholarships for excellent students and post-graduate students who wish to work at Novatech after graduation. All of this support is aimed at developing research fields and training high-quality human resources in fields such as Physics, Materials Science (magnetic materials), Information Technology, Chemistry, Geology, Mechanics, Automation, Environment and other training fields at the Graduate University of Science and Technology.
Scholarships and selected topics will be evaluated by a council of leading industry experts established by the Graduate University of Science and Technology. Scholarships and topics will be selected in the spirit of focusing on students and graduate students.
Mr. Oh Choon Teak, Chairman of Novatech Group, said that the "Scientific research support and scholarship fund" is the beginning for future cooperation programs between the Graduate University of Science and Technology and Novatech Group. He hopes that the cooperation program between the two sides will be successful and increasingly develop; amd the group will have more highly qualified human resources and project topics suitable for the development of the group.
