Receiving the Delegation of Thuringia State, Federal Republic of Germany

On November 7, 2023, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) had a working session with the Delegation of Research Institutes and Enterprises - Thuringia State - Federal Republic of Germany. Welcoming the delegation, on the VAST side was Dr. Dang Quang Hung, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department and Representatives of the Institute of Genome Research, Institute of Materials Science and Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

The two sides discussed research fields to seek cooperation opportunities, such as medical technology, biotechnology, genetic research, materials science, materials engineering, electronics, and measuring technology. measurement, mechanical engineering and human resource training.

Mr. Dirk Barnewitz, - Representative of Thuringia State Delegation, - said that research institutes and businesses of Thuringia State have had many cooperative relationships with Vietnam. Through discussion, he was very impressed with VAST and cooperation projects with the Federal Republic of Germany; He also said that there are many areas where the two sides can cooperate.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides affirmed that they would continue to discuss to building joint cooperation and coordination projects in the future.
