Promoting the introduction of research and application of Physics and Technology in many professions into life
Presidium of the Conference
CAEP-8 is organized in collaboration with International Center for Physics, Institute of Physics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Vietnam German University and a number of domestic and foreign research units.
CAEP is organized every 2 years with the goal of creating opportunities to exchange new results and achievements domestically and internationally in research and development of applied physics technology and engineering, as well as physical applications; strengthen exchanges and cooperation on science and technology domestically and internationally, between regions, between research and training units, between researchers, scientific and technological development, manufacturing and physical applications.
Attending CAEP-8 were nearly 250 delegates from 11 countries including: Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Philippines, Korea, Japan and France. According to the organizers, the conference had a total of 109 reports, of which 59 oral reports (divided into 2 subcommittees: Engineering Physics and Applied Physics) and 50 poster reports were reported in parallel.
National and international scientists discussed and shared research results in the fields of: Lighting Technology, Plasma and Applied Physics, Optics and Applied Photonics, Surveying and Applications in Science, Applied Nuclear Physics and Nuclear Engineering, Materials, components and equipment photonics, optics, materials, equipment and technologies for sustainable development, remote sensing and applications in atmospheric physics and astronomy. The conference is also an opportunity for PhD students in Engineering Physics to approach the above fields. The latest research works, newly discovered issues that are receiving the attention of the international scientific community were also introduced at the conference.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dai Hung, Chairman of the Evaluation Conference, CAEF-8, held within the framework of the Physical Development Program 2021 - 2025 (Program 1187), has created an important connection between Vietnamese scientists and the international scientific community, and at the same time helped young Vietnamese scientists to exchange and share new ideas, new research methods with the world's leading scientists. Most of the research reports at the conference were of high quality with a wide range of practical applications.
The opportunities for cooperation in training and research opened after the conference contribute to promoting engineering and applied physics research.
