Prof. Dr. Sci. Ngo Viet Trung, Institute of Mathematics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, awarded Ta Quang Buu Award 2022

The two scientists awarded the Award for the author of an outstanding scientific work (main prize) include:

1. Prof. Dr. Sci. Ngo Viet Trung, Institute of Mathematics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (Mathematics major)
2. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Le Thu, University of Science and Technology, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (Chemistry Major)

Previously, on April 23, 2022, the Award Council met, reviewed and evaluated 05 applications submitted by specialized scientific councils in the field of natural and technical sciences that the National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED) introduced to select excellent scientists to propose the Minister of Science and Technology to present Ta Quang Buu Award 2022. The Award Council proposed two scientists for the award and did not propose awards for young scientists.

The award ceremony is expected to be held on the occasion of Vietnam Science and Technology Day (May 18) in Hanoi.
