Prof. Acad. Chau Van Minh attended the conference to summarize 30 years of direct cooperation in the long-term preservation and absolute safety of President Ho Chi Minh's body between the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Research Institute of Medicinal Materials and Essential Oils of the Russian Federation (VILAR)

Attending the Conference were the following comrades: General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission and Minister of National Defense; Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of National Defense; Professor, Academician Chau Van Minh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and Chairman of the State Scientific Council for preservation, long-term preservation and protection absolutely safe body of President Ho Chi Minh; Major General Nguyen Van Gau, Member of the Party Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Senior Lieutenant General Truong Quang Khanh, former member of the Party Central Committee and former Deputy Minister of National Defense; Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; Academician Sidelnikov Nikolai Ivanovich, Director of VILAR; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Vietnam Gennady Stepanovich Bezdetko; representatives of central and local ministries, departments and branches; and leaders of units under the Ministry of Defense.

On the side of the Mausoleum Management Board, there were comrades: Major General Bui Hai Son, Acting Head of the Mausoleum Management Board and Commander of the Mausoleum Protection Command; Colonel Dinh Quoc Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee of the 969th Youth Union and Political Commissar of the Mausoleum Protection Command; and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the head of the Mausoleum Protection Command; former heads of units in different periods and heads of agencies and units in the Mausoleum Management Board.

Reports presented at the conference:

- Major General Bui Hai Son, Acting Head of the Mausoleum Management Board and Commander of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, reported the results of 30 years of direct cooperation, the results of periodic renovation in 2022. Accordingly, the two sides have coordinated to carry out many scientific research cooperation projects. Experts of the Mausoleum Management Board have independently developed more than 50 scientific topics, contributing to improving the quality of the unit's key political tasks.VILAR has sent more than 200 experts to work at the Mausoleum Management Board. Since 1992, the Mausoleum Management Board has sent 116 officials to study and do scientific research at VILAR. Coordinating with VILAR in contacting educational institutions in the Russian Federation to provide undergraduate and postgraduate training for 17 researchers, including 11 who successfully defended doctoral theses, short-term training under topics (theory - practice) 58 turns of staff with more than 100 topics.

30 years of direct cooperation between the Mausoleum Management Board and VILAR shows that this mechanism transformation has brought practical effects, most importantly, the body of President Ho Chi Minh continues to be preserved intact and absolutely safe. That success is thanks to the close leadership and direction of the Governments of the two countries; the interest in facilitating the enthusiastic and effective help of the relevant ministries, departments and agencies of the Russian Federation and Vietnam is directly due to the traditional friendly cooperation relationship between the Mausoleum Management Board and VILAR.

Speaking at the Conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged and praised the dedication and contributions of Vietnamese scientists, central government departments and agencies; functional agencies, party committees, local authorities, people and cadres, soldiers, civil servants, public employees and employees, Mausoleum Management Board, and Mausoleum Protection Command, coordinating to organize and successfully complete the honorable and sacred tasks assigned by the Party, State and People. On behalf of the leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam, the Prime Minister would like to thank the former Soviet Union and the Russian Federation today for the impartial, transparent and effective cooperation and support. Next are scientists and medical experts from the Russian Federation of Research Institute of Medicinal Essential Oils for this "especially important, sacred and sublime" task.

At this Conference, the Prime Minister awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to VILAR; Friendship Medal for Chief Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Vietnam Viacheslav Kharinov and Certificates of Merit for 11 collectives and individuals under the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum for outstanding achievements in 30 years of direct cooperation to carry out the task of long-term preservation and absolute protection of the body of President Ho Chi Minh.
