President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology Inspects the Construction Progress of the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi Project: Determined to Complete the Project by the End of 2027

On June 17, 2026, Prof. Dr. Tran Hong Thai – President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), and Prof. Dr. Chu Hoang Ha – Vice President of VAST, conducted an on-site inspection of the construction progress of the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) Project. The working session marked a crucial step forward for the project by removing "bottlenecks", clearly specifying responsibilities, focal points, and deadlines, thereby demonstrating strong determination to complete the entire project by the end of 2027 and hand over the campus for USTH to welcome the new academic year before June 2028.

At the meeting, President Tran Hong Thai issued decisive directives to address the project's "bottlenecks" under the spirit of "Clear responsibilities, clear focal points, clear deadlines"; at the same time, he affirmed that VAST leadership is fully committed to accompanying and sharing difficulties with enterprises.

Concluding the working session, President Tran Hong Thai requested all units to immediately get to work with the highest determination, ensuring the project reaches the finish line on schedule in December 2027 and stands ready to welcome USTH students to the new campus before June 2028.
