Presenting and congratulating 2010 Ho Chi Minh Prize and State Prize winners on science and technology from VAST
On March 9th 2012, being granted authority by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology held a ceremony to present and congratulate scientists winning the Ho Chi Minh Prize and the State Prize on science and technology 2010. The event drew the participation of Prof. Chau Van Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, VAST Party secretary and VAST president; Prof. Duong Ngoc Hai, VAST Party deputy secretary and VAST vice president; Prof. Nguyen Dinh Cong, VAST vice president; Assoc. Prof. Ha Duy Ngo, VAST Party permanent deputy secretary; representatives from departments and institutes under VAST; and all scientists wining the prize.
These two winning works have high practical value. They are the result of extensive research, intelligent contribution and the talent of scientists and contributors. These works are an important contribution to building socio-economic and environment strategies, as well as making policies to exploit, develop, preserve and sustainably use the precious biological resources of Vietnam. They open new research trends that open up the potential in Vietnamese resources, contributing to the cause of building and developing the country.

On behalf of VAST leaders and Party Committee, Prof. Minh congratulated scientists and co-workers presented with the prize. He hoped that scientists would be always enthusiastic in research so that VAST would have more valuable scientific research in the near future.
