Outstanding youth union officials representing Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology’s youngsters receive Ly Tu Trong Award in 2024

On March 22, 2024, in Ha Tinh city (Ha Tinh province), the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organized the ceremony to mark the 93rd anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 2024) and awarded Ly Tu Trong Award in 2024.

Representing the youth of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, comrade Pham Thanh Dang, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, is honored to be one of three representative union cadre representatives of the Block of Central Agencies among 100 outstanding National Youth Union officials receiving the Ly Tu Trong Award in 2024.

The program celebrating the 93rd anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and awarding the 2024 Ly Tu Trong Award took place from March 21-23, 2024 in Ha Tinh province. Within the framework of the program, delegates participated in the journey back to the source at Kim Lien Relic Area and Truong Bon National Relic Area; enjoyed the play "Live forever at the age of 17" by playwright Luu Quang Vu at the Center for Cinema and Culture of Ha Tinh province; and offerred incense at the Dong Loc Junction relic site and the grave site of late Party General Secretary Tran Phu.

100 Youth Union officials awarded the Ly Tu Trong Award in 2024 are outstanding Youth Union officials, examples in many fields of work, belonging to many different subjects, areas, and regions. These are typical examples of pioneering spirit, responsibility, exemplary work in the collective, community, creativity, daring to think and do, with many achievements in study, work, labor and production. They have many initiatives that actively contribute to innovating the way the Youth Union operates; technical innovation, administrative reform, preservation of cultural lifestyle, environmental protection; ensure security and order, maintain traffic order and safety, urban civilization, support young people to start businesses, build businesses, build effective economic models to enrich themselves and their families, and solve problems.
