Model under Tay Nguyen 3 project period 2016-2020 handed over

On October 22, 2021, in the lobby of the 1st floor, Central Building of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, No. 18 Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Cau Giay, Hanoi, Central Highlands 3 Program Management Board for 2016-2020 period held a handover ceremony for the model under the project of the Central Highlands 3 Program by Institute of Ecology and Biological Resources for Vietnam Museum of Nature.

Attending the handover ceremony were Dr. and senior researcher Nguyen Dinh Ky, Deputy Director of the Central Highlands 3 Program, period 2016 – 2020. The model handover party is Institute of Ecology and Biological Resources, with Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Sinh, Director of Institute and Chairman of the project "Research and development of a scientific basis for the model of integrated management of the south Truong Son Mountain ecosystem for conservation and sustainable exploitation", code TN18/T07, with the Institute's leaders and members participating in the project. The party receiving the model was Vietnam Museum of Nature, with Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Trung Minh, General Director, together with the Board of General Director and leaders of departments of Vietnam Museum of Nature.

Five models are part of the project showing the Central Highlands Mountain Ecosystems: 1) Ngoc Linh Nature Reserve; 2) Chu Mom Ray National Park; 3) Kon Ka Kinh National Park; 4) Chu Yang Sin National Park; 5) Bidoup Nui Ba National Park. The models are designed with GIS software and specialized software, with the horizontal size of 80x80 cm, Foxmix materials, Composite resin, 3D paint and accessories come with 1:50,000 horizontal scale and vertical scale of 1: 10.000.

The entire models are added to the specimen collection of the Vietnam Museum of Nature and displayed at the courtyard of the Vietnam Museum of Nature.
