Meeting with veterans of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology in the Southern region

With the consent of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, leaders of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), to implement the work program in 2022, Mr. Pham Thanh Son, Chairman of the VAST Veterans’ Association and Mr. Vu Duc Hoang, Vice Chairman of VAST Veterans’ Association met with VAST veterans in the southern region on November 13-16, 2022. Attending and directing the meeting were Mr. Pham Tuan Huy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the VAST Party Committee.
At the meeting, Mr. Pham Thanh Son, Chairman of the VAST Veterans’ Association, presented the results of the 4th Congress of the VAST Veterans’ Association, term 2022-2027.
On this occasion, the Executive Board of VAST Veterans Association donated books to the Prof. Dr. Tran Dai Nghia Memorial Site; burned incense at the Professor's family home and organized the program heading to the source at the Cu Chi Tunnels Historic Site. This was a practical and meaningful activity for each veteran.
