Mass art performances mark the 40th founding anniversary of VAST

The quinquennial event was held by VAST Trade Union and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to celebrate the 7^th VAST Party Congress (2015-2020 term).

This huge cultural event took place in the academy to encourage all the staff to work hard to complete their assigned political tasks; promote the potential of mass art among the staff; contribute to promoting the movement of culture and art, meeting the demand for the appreciation of art and encourage creativity among the staff as well as the improve spiritual life for employees in the academy.

The event drew the participation of cadres and members of the youth unions from 23 units under VAST. They sang songs of love to praise  the homeland, the nation, and the party and beloved Uncle Ho as well as the tradition of the units.

The organizing board presented a special prize to the artistic troupe from the New Technology Application and Tourism One-member limited liability company (NEWTATCO CO.,Ltd); the first prize to artistic troupe from the Institute of Biotechnology; the second prize to artistic troupes from the Institute of Geography and the Institute of Physics; the third prize to the , artistic troupes from the Institute of Space Technology, the Institute of National Products Chemistry, the Institute of Material Sciences and the Institute of Environmental Technology.

The mass art performance in the southern region took place in Ho Chi Minh City on May 6^th 2015.
