Japanese delegation visits Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology

On May 10th, Prof. Chau Van Minh, President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and representatives from the Department for International Cooperation and Vietnam Space Technology Institute received a delegation from Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry to the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.


At the reception, the two sides discussed a Vietnam Space Centre project. Mr. Minh said this was an important and strategic project of the Academy. He also praised cooperative activities in science and technology between Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and Japan.



Head of Department of Manufacturing Industry, Masanori Suzuki, made a speech


Head of Department of Manufacturing Industry under Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Masanori Suzuki, expressed his hope of receiving support from Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology for the Vietnam Space Centre project. He said that in the near future, the two sides would soon give the final decision to carry out a cooperation project.

Concluding the working session, Prof. Minh expressed appreciation for the working visit paid by the delegation. He hoped that the successful visit would further promote cooperation on science and technology.
