Institute of Mathematics organizes "Scholarship, internship and study opportunity program"

On August 15, 2022, in Hanoi, the Institute of Mathematics held a "Scholarship, internship and study opportunity program" to introduce opportunities for study, internship, research and career orientation, and scholarships at a number of agencies and universities, such as Institute of Mathematics, Center for International Mathematics Research Traing Center under the Institute of Mathematics, University of Mississippi, USA. The program is organized in a combination of both face-to-face and online.

The overview of the event

Speaking at the opening of the Program, Prof. Dr. Phung Ho Hai, Director of the Institute of Mathematics, said that through the Program, students will fully grasp information about opportunities for study, internship and scholarships at the Institute of Mathematics, as well as some other units and universities mentioned in the Program. Students can consider and choose their own path. Every job has its strengths and hardships, but if we try harder and invest more at a young age, our later life will be better. The task of the students now is to find out, consider and choose for themselves the appropriate direction. The important thing here is that we can follow our passion and be happy with it.

At the Program, students were introduced to an overview of the existing training system of the Institute of Mathematics, including a lot of information related to post-graduate training and international graduate systems. In addition, students are also introduced to scholarship opportunities through research projects of the Center for International Mathematics Research Training Center as well as opportunities to study, practice and apply for scholarships in the US. Also within the framework of the Program, students can hear four lectures presented by professors and doctors from prestigious international universities.
