Institute of Information Technology held ceremony to receive Labor Medal and conference to review work in 2021, and work plan for 2022
The event drew the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Tuan Anh, Vice President of VAST; Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Tung, Deputy Head of the Department of Organization and Personnel; representatives of a number of leaders of units under VAST, and all officials and employees of the Institute of Information Technology.
At the ceremony, leader of the Department of Organization and Personnel, VAST announced the following decisions:
- Decision 1322/QD-CTN dated July 22, 2021 of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam awarding the Second-class Labor Medal to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Chi Mai, former Deputy Director of the Institute of Information Technology, VAST, who has made excellent achievements during his working life, contributing to the cause of building socialism and national defence.
- Decision 1524/QD-TTg dated August 23, 2021 of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam awarding the Third-class Labor Medal to Assoc. Thai Quang Vinh, former Director of the Institute of Information Technology, VAST, who has made excellent achievements during his work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and national defence.
Under the authorization of the President, Vice President of VAST Tran Tuan Anh awarded the Labor Medal to 2 officials of the Institute of Information Technology.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Tuan Anh, authorized by the State President, awarded the Second-class Labor Medal to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Luong Chi Mai and the Third-Class Labor Medal for Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thai Quang Vinh
On this occasion, the Institute of Information Technology held a conference to review work in 2021 and the direction, tasks and key plans of 2022. In 2021, the Institute of Information Technology has well completed the assigned tasks.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Tuan Anh congratulated comrade Luong Chi Mai and comrade Thai Quang Vinh on the honor of receiving the Labor Medal for their contributions and dedication to the Institute of Information Technology in particular and to the development of VAST in general. He highly appreciated the achievements in 2021 and hoped that in the coming time, the Institute of Information Technology would continue to focus intellectually on scientific research and successfully complete the assigned tasks.
