Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology offers incense to commemorate Heroic Martyr Ly Tu Trong
The event drew the participation of Mr. Pham Tuan Huy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the VAST Party Committee; Mr. Pham Thanh Son, Chairman of VAST Veterans' Association; Comrade Tran Thi Mai Huong, Deputy Chief of the Office of the VAST Party Committee; Mr. Nghiem Ngoc Minh, Vice Chairman of VAST Trade Union; Mr. Tran Trung Kien, Chief of Office of the Youth Union of the Central Agencies Bloc; Comrade Dang Quoc Dai, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the VAST; together with the Secretary, Deputy Secretary and some outstanding members of the branches under the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of VAST in Hanoi.
The delegation offered incense to commemorate Heroic Martyr Ly Tu Trong.
The activities aim to educate the members of the Communist Party of Vietnam in politics and ideology and express gratitude to Heroic Martyr Ly Tu Trong - the first member of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, a steadfast, indomitable communist soldier who devoted all his youth to revolutionary ideals and the cause of national liberation.
Besides offering incense to commemorate Heroic Martyr Ly Tu Trong, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of VAST has directed its affiliates to organize a number of activities to respond to Youth Month 2023, and to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931. -26/3/2023), like:
• Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Genome Research Institute and branch of Le Quy Don Secondary School (Hai Duong City) coordinated to disseminate "Protecting biodiversity" in Hoang Hoa Tham commune, Chi Linh city, Hai Duong, on March 11, 2023.
• The Central Highlands Scientific Research Institute's Youth Union organized a charity program "Spreading love, continuing to go to school" to visit and give gifts to disadvantaged students at Gia Bac Primary School, Di Linh district, Lam Dong province, on March 16, 2023.
• The Youth Union of the Institute of Applied Materials Science, the Youth Union of the Institute of Tropical Biology and the Youth Union of the Institute of Applied Mechanics and Informatics jointly organized a program on the source of "Red Addresses" in Ben Tre province on March 24, 2023.
• The Youth Union of the Vietnam Museum of Nature organized a Workshop "Photography in life and scientific research" on March 20, 2023.
• The Youth Union of the Institute of Materials Science organized a Youth Dialogue with the Institute's leaders with the theme "The Youth of the Institute of Materials Science pioneers in carrying out political tasks" on March 28, 2023.
• The Youth Union of Hanoi University of Science and Technology organized the USTH football tournament Champion league 2023 from February 19, 2023 to March 26, 2022; USTH 3x3 Tourney Basketball Tournament 2023 on March 25, 2023; USTH's Open Tournament 2023 Badminton Tournament from April 2 to 9, 2023; and the USTH Sports Festival which includes relay running, athletics, chess and other physical games on March 26, 2023.
• The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of VAST organized the VAST football tournament in the North region in 2023 from April 6 to 26, 2023.
