FRENCH PRESIDENT EMMANUEL MACRON MEETS WITH STUDENTS AND YOUNG INTELLECTUALS OF VIETNAM AT USTH-VAST
The event reflects the attention and expectations of the leaders of both Vietnam and France toward the younger generation — those who play a central role in shaping the future, driving scientific and technological advancement, and contributing to the enhancement of the friendly and strategic cooperative relationship between the two countries.
At the meeting, President Emmanuel Macron delivered a speech and engaged with students under the theme “France – Vietnam, a Shared Future.” He also posed for group photos with faculty and students of University of Science and Technology of Hanoi.
As part of the program, French President Emmanuel Macron, together with Vice President Võ Thị Ánh Xuân and senior leaders from both France and Vietnam, participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the VNVC Vaccine and Biological Products Factory. This event marks a significant milestone in the implementation of the bilateral cooperation plan on vaccine production technology transfer between the two strategic partners. The ceremony took place just one day after VNVC announced a partnership agreement on technology transfer with France’s Sanofi Group, witnessed by Vietnamese President Lương Cường and President Emmanuel Macron.
