Delegation of headmasters from universities in Wallonie region and Community of French speaking Belgium visits VAST
Prof. Chau Van Minh, VAST President, representatives from the Department of International Cooperation and institutes under VAST, received the delegation.
Mr. Minh briefly introduced the academy as well as its international cooperation activities with Belgian universities and the Community of French speaking Belgium. He said cooperation with the kingdom of Belgium is one of an important and effective cooperation of the academy. He hoped that the two sides would make efforts to carry out cooperative projects in the fields of environmental technology, life science, materials science, chemistry and energy science.
Mr. Franck Pezza, head of the Wallonie – Bruxelle commission, introduced Belgium, training, teaching and research programmes in universities in the community of French speaking Belgium. He said it was necessary to promote cooperation with VAST, especially training cooperation for Vietnamese sciences according to master and doctorate programmes in Belgium.

Concluding the working session, Prof. Minh appreciated the visit of the delegation to the academy. He suggested the two sides continue to promote education and training cooperation for young researchers from the academy in the fields of science and technology, and wished their visit to Vietnam every success.
