Addressing at the ceremony, Prof. Chau Van Minh expressed his cheer and warmly congratulated teachers meeting the criteria and designated the title professor and associate professor. He added that this was an honour for the academy as well as recognition of the constant contributions made by scientists from VAST to the cause of national science and technology training and development. He also hoped that professors and associate professors would make further contributions to the cause of scientific research and training of VAST and the nation, contributing to successfully implementing VAST’s strategic tasks until 2020 and following years, as approved by the Prime Minister.
