Conference to summarize the union in 2023 and deploy tasks in 2024

Over the past year, the Trade Union of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology has promptly implemented the instructions of the Party Committee, the Leadership of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and the Vietnam Union of Public Employees, and has developed a specific action program and work plan; launching many emulation movements, creating a united working environment, encouraging officials and union members to actively deploy innovation and improve the quality of scientific research.
Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology Trade Union has proactively advised the Party Committee in directing the development and implementation of policies and regimes for officials, employees and workers; ensuring openness and fairness in the discovery, selection, training, employment, and treatment of officials and workers; trade unions of units have proactively coordinated with government leaders at the same level to well organize the staff conference; Direct affiliated trade unions to successfully organize the trade union congress for the term 2023 - 2028 and successfully organize the Congress of Trade Union Delegates of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology for the term 2023 - 2028 in accordance with the plan; Carry out well the work of taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers on the occasion of Lunar New Year, Workers' Month...; Pay attention to and care for the children of officials and union members on International Children's Day (June 1), Mid-Autumn Festival and organize commendation and reward for good students who win prizes at all levels in the 2022 school year- 2023; perform well the work of gratitude, social charity activities, helping the poor and people with meritorious services; Share with families in difficult circumstances.….
2024 is the year Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology will organize activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology Trade Union is determined to closely follow the key political tasks and coordinate closely with Leaders and Party Committees of affiliated units, mobilize, encourage and mobilize officials and trade union members to perform political tasks well, with new spirit, new momentum, promoting strong will and desire, . innovation ambition, 50 years of building and developing Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology to be on par with the task requirements in the new period, and successfully implementing the political tasks of the unit and Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
Speaking at the Conference, Prof. Chu Hoang Ha - Vice President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology highly appreciated the achievements of VAST’s trade union in 2023. The Academy's trade union has had many meaningful activities, making practical contributions to completing the work into important political tasks of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. He also hopes that Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology's trade union in 2024 will promote the results it has achieved proactively and creatively to make even higher achievements in union activities and excellently complete the Resolution of the Congress.
To recognize collectives and individuals who have made outstanding achievements in the 2023 Trade Union activities, the Institute's Trade Union Executive Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 38 trade unions that successfully completed their tasks and 86 trade unions. Outstanding union members in 2023; 42 trade union groups were recognized as excellent trade union groups and excellent department trade unions in 2023. Also at the Conference, VAST Trade Union also awarded the Medal "For the cause of building trade union organizations" of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for 09 individuals.
