Conference on dissemination of national defense and military

The event drew the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Tuan Anh, Vice President of VAST, Commander of VAST Military Command; Colonel Nguyen Van Hau, Political Academy, Ministry of National Defense; Leaders of units, Heads of Divisions of units and Military Commands and Self-Defense Forces of affiliated units; and leaders, officials and employees of specialized units assist the President of VAST.

Over the years, VAST Party Committee and leaders of VAST have been interested in national defense and military, especially the dissemination of national defense and security education with important contents as follows:

- Disseminating officials and employees to understand the basic contents of the Law on National Defense, the Law on Militia and Self-Defense, and Law on the Military Reserve Force; to change the perception of the position, role and responsibility of building self-defense forces in the cause of national construction and defense; contributing to consolidating and building the all-people national defense, the all-people national defense posture associated with the increasingly strong people's security posture.

- Associating the task of dissemination of national defense and military affairs with the performance of tasks of agencies and units, and citizens' rights and obligations in terms of building self-defense and reserve forces, and building a strong and comprehensive political system, successfully carrying out the two strategic tasks of national construction and defense. Help units perform well in defense and military affairs in association with the implementation of political tasks of agencies and units.
