Conference of Executive Committee of VAST Party Committee

The Executive Committee of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) Party Committee held its conference on January 25, 2024. Comrade Chau Van Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of VAST Party Committee and VAST President, chaired the conference, with the participation of members of the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of VAST Party Committee.

Implementing the plan to summarize Resolutions and Directives of the Central Committee and the work program of the Central Agencies Bloc Party Committee, VAST Party Committee organized a conference to evaluate and summarize the Party's Resolutions, directives and regulations in detail as follows:

After listening to the draft Reports, delegates focused on discussing, contributing opinions and voting to basically approve the following contents:

• Preliminary report on 05 years of implementing Resolution 26-NQ/TW dated May 19, 2018 of the 12th Party Central Committee on focusing on building a team of officials at all levels, especially at the strategic level, qualified, capable and reputable, on par with the tasks in VAST Party Committee.
• Summary report on Party building for the 2020 - 2025 term.
• Report summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter 2011 - 2025 of VAST Party Committee.
• Summary report of Directive 35-CT/TW dated May 30, 2019 of the Politburo on party congresses at all levels towards the 13th National Party Congress.

Speaking at the end of the Conference, Comrade Chau Van Minh, Secretary of VAST Party Committee, thanked delegates for their contributions. He added that the Standing Committee of VAST Party Committee would study and absorb the comments to supplement and complete reports.

On the occasion of lunar New Year 2024, comrade Chau Van Minh sent New Year wishes to all participating delegates for a year of good health, happiness and successful completion of assigned tasks.
