Completing technological processes and building production lines for a number of environmentally friendly, biodegradable plastic packaging products
The goal of the project is to perfect the technological process of producing plastic pellets to promote decomposition with a capacity of 300 kg/day, and an environmentally friendly packaging production line with a capacity of 100 kg/day, thus mastering the technology chain to produce plastic pellets to promote decomposition and environmentally friendly packaging on an industrial scale; developing and announcing TCCS for the following products: plastic pellets, biodegradable additives, biodegradable food bags, biodegradable garbage bags, and biodegradable shopping bags.
After two years of implementation (from January 2021 to December 2022), the research team has produced 307.3 kg of biodegradable plastic additives; 503.4 kg of biodegradable food bags; 503.6 kg of biodegradable garbage bags and 503.2 kg of biodegradable shopping bags. Products that have been quality checked at an independent laboratory meet the requirements compared to the registered ones. In addition, the research team succeeded in completing 01 technological process for the production of biodegradable plastic particles; 01 technological process for the production of biodegradable food bags; 01 technological process for the production of self-destructing garbage bags; 01 technological process for the production of biodegradable shopping bags; 04 basic standards for 4 products including biodegradable plastic pellets, biodegradable food bags, biodegradable garbage bags, and biodegradable shopping bags.
Products of the research team
In particular, the project has registered a trademark for environmentally friendly packaging products, and has been accepted by the National Office of Intellectual Property with a valid application with the brand name: LT GreenBag Environmentally friendly (Decision 38386/ QD-SHTT dated May 10, 2022). The bag products of the project have been put into practice, specifically these products have been put into Hanoi Food Joint Stock Company - HAPROFOOD convenience store chain and supermarket chains in Hanoi.
The obtained results have contributed to the diversification of plastic packaging products that are widely applied in the packaging industry; a new step in promoting and developing packaging technology, environmentally friendly plastic with biodegradable ability.
