Commendation of Outstanding Union Officials for 2018-2023

On July 1, 2024, the Vietnam Public Sector Union solemnly held a ceremony to commemorate the 30th anniversary of its founding (July 2, 1994 – 2024) and to commend 100 outstanding union officials for the period 2018-2023. Attending the ceremony were Mrs. Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, along with former leaders of the Party and State; leaders of various committees, ministries, and departments; and leaders of the Vietnam Public Sector Union across different periods.

Within the framework of the ceremony, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor commended 100 outstanding union officials for the period 2018-2023, including three union officials from the Union of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology: Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, President of the Union of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology; Ms. Doan Thi Mai Huong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Institute of Marine Biochemistry Party Committee, Deputy Director, and President of the Union of the Institute of Marine Biochemistry; and Mr. Pham Quoc Long, President of the Union of the Institute of Materials Science.
