Commendation and awards ceremony for outstanding students at all levels for the 2023-2024 school year
Attending the ceremony were Professor Dr. Chu Hoang Ha, Vice President of the Academy; Dr.Pham Huan Huy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Academy’s Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, Member of the Academy’s Party Executive Committee and President of the VAST Trade Union; Mr. Phan Ke Son, Secretary of the Academy’s Youth Union; along with other members of the Academy’s Trade Union Executive Committee, officials, employees who are parents of the award-winning students, and all the outstanding students who received awards at various levels during the 2023-2024 school year.

In her opening speech, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue emphasized that over the years, the various levels of the VAST Trade Union have organized numerous meaningful activities to care for, encourage, and protect children. These activities include events such as International Children's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, Action Month for Children, and Tet celebrations. Additionally, the VAST Trade Union frequently organizes visits, support, and gift-giving for children affected by Agent Orange and for disadvantaged students in remote areas. These activities have significantly contributed to motivating students to study hard, continually improve, and bring peace of mind to their parents, enabling them to continue dedicating themselves to the scientific research endeavors of the nation. The achievements of these students are valuable gifts for their grandparents, parents, and are also a source of pride for their families, schools, and the Academy. On behalf of the VAST Trade Union, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue warmly praised and congratulated the students on their accomplishments.

In the past school year, thanks to the relentless efforts of the students and the care and support from their parents, the children of the Academy's staff continued to demonstrate their talents in national, provincial, city, and district-level academic competitions. Nearly 1,900 students received the title of Outstanding Student, with 209 students winning a total of 237 awards, including:
- 05 National Awards under the Ministry of Education and Training system
- 38 Provincial and City-level Awards under the Ministry of Education and Training system
- 83 District-level Awards under the Ministry of Education and Training system
- 44 Talent Awards
- 69 Awards in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training
