Celebrating the 40th founding anniversary of Inspection Committee and receiving PM's Certificate of Merit

The event drew the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Tuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) and Vice President of VAST; Mr. Pham Tuan Huy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of VAST, Head of the Inspection Committee, the leaders representing the units under the VAST; and leaders, former leaders and cadres who have been working at the Inspection Committee.

Over 40 years of construction and development, under the direct direction of the Academy's leaders, the Inspection Committee has well performed its political tasks, maintained internal solidarity, and always fulfilled its functions and assigned tasks, contributing to enhancing the effectiveness of the comprehensive management of the Academy.

With these achievements, the Inspection Committee has been rewarded many times by superiors. Especially, over the past 5 years, the Inspection Board has all won the title of Excellent Labor Collective, and been awarded 01 Certificate of Merit by VAST President, 02 Flags of Excellent Unit Emulation, the Third Class Labor Medal and 01 Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister. The Party Committee and Trade Union of the Inspection Committee have also been recognized by the Party Committee and Trade Union of the Academy for many consecutive years with the title of clean and strong party committee and excellent strong trade union.

In particular, on the occasion of its 40th anniversary, the Inspection Committee was honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister for its achievements in anti-corruption in the period 2013-2020. This is a great reward from the State for the Inspection Committee, as well as an appreciation for the VAST's role in anti-corruption.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Party Committee and leaders of the VAST, Vice President Tran Tuan Anh acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements that the Inspection Committee has achieved. Over the past 40 years, the Inspection Committee has constantly strived and successfully completed the assigned tasks. He believed that with a tradition of 40 years of construction and development, the Inspection Committee would continue to have new developments, contributing to the overall success of VAST.
