Awarding Third Class Labor Medal of State President and Certificate of Merit of Prime Minister to individuals and collectives of the Institute of Geology

On December 30, 2021, the Institute of Geology held a solemn ceremony to award the Third Class Labor Medal of the State President and the Certificate of Merit of the Prime Minister to individuals and collectives of the Institute.

On December 30, 2021, the Institute of Geology was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal of the State President for Dr. Pham Quang Son, former Vice Director of the Institute of Geology, and the Certificate of Merit of the Prime Minister for individuals and collectives of the Institute of Geology for their outstanding achievements in the 2016-2021 period.

The Institute of Geology under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology was established in 1976. Over the past 45 years, the Institute of Geology has always been the leading research institute in the field of Earth Science. The contributions of collectives, cadres, civil servants and employees have been recognized by the State with many noble awards. The Institute was awarded the Independence Medal by the State (Third Class in 1996 and Second Class in 2006), and Certificate of Merit of the Prime Minister (in 2011 and 2016).

Congratulating the Institute's staff on receiving the Third-class Labor Medal of the President and the Certificate of Merit of the Prime Minister, on behalf of the President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Vice President Tran Tuan Anh praised the Institute of Geology on íts achievements over the years. The Vice President hoped that this Medal and Certificate of Merit would be the driving force for the Institute of Geology to continue developing in the new period, contributing to the overall development of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
