9TH CONFERENCE ON NATURAL SCIENCES FOR YOUNG SCIENTISTS AND POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS FROM ASEAN COUNTRIES (CASEAN-9)

The 9th Conference on Natural Sciences for Young Scientists and Postgraduate Students from ASEAN Countries
The conference gathered more than 200 delegates, including 67 international delegates from ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar) and many other countries and territories such as Russia, Japan, Korea, France, Czech Republic, New Zealand, Taiwan (China)...
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dai Hung (Institute of Physics) - Chairman of the Conference, emphasized the goal of strengthening scientific cooperation and training of research human resources between countries in the region and internationally. He also requested the International Physics Center (Institute of Physics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology) to continue to strongly support scientific cooperation and exchange activities.

Prof. Dr. Jakrapong Kaewkhao (Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Thailand) affirmed that the CASEAN conference series over the years has become an important forum for young scientists in the field of physics in particular and natural sciences in general to learn and connect.
Prof. Dr. Vu Dinh Lam - Director of Graduate University of Science and Technology (GUST), Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, highly appreciated the significance of organizing CASEAN-9, wishing to strengthen coordination between the International Physics Center, Institute of Physics, Academy of Science and Technology in international cooperation activities and scientific exchanges.

Despite the impact of Typhoon Bualoi, many flights of delegates were delayed, causing difficulties in traveling and arranging schedules, all scientific reports were still presented and completed on schedule. During the two days, the Conference took place in an exciting atmosphere with more than 170 scientific reports presented.
On September 30, 2025, the Conference closed. The Conference affirmed its significance: Not only a forum to present research results but also a place for domestic and international exchange and cooperation in science and technology.
