On January 15, 2009, Chairman of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology signed Decision No. 34 / QD-KHCNVN on establishing the Center for Supporting Technology Development and Precursor Service of Public Development Center. High tech today.

In conditions of many difficulties and shortcomings, the Center has quickly consolidated the organization, built up forces, built up the management regime to implement the three main tasks assigned by the President of the Institute:

Managing and exploiting technology testing zones of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, first of all, Nghia Do Production - Testing Technology Zone.

Organize the incubation, support activities of testing, perfecting technology and research and development - deploying technology in technology testing zones.
Organizing domestic and foreign service, consultancy and cooperation activities to exploit and develop technology.
Currently, the Center for High-Tech Development has 01 Director, 03 Deputy Directors, 92 officials and working employees, including 03 Professors and Associate Professors; 16 Doctors; 11 Masters; 38 universities, 27 other qualifications. In addition, there are 32 scientific staff working on a part-time basis, collaborators.

Science and technology activities of the Center for High Technology Development are a rich and flexible operation model, taking the work of creating seeds for the development of scientific and technological activities, combining basic research with research and application of technology, mobilize maximum resources inside and outside the Center for scientific and technological development, target direction of research activities to serve the needs of production and market.

Since 2009, the Center has welcomed and worked with about 40 delegations from research institutes, universities, and large firms of many countries around the world; organized many seminars with foreign partners, thereby finding, selecting and signing scientific and technological cooperation programs, and organized delegations to come and welcome many delegations to study, exchange, implement goals that are of interest to the parties.

For the Center for High-Tech Development, service operations and technology deployment are considered an important task. In recent years, service activities for production and technology deployment not only contribute to increasing products with high science and technology content, but also contribute to improving income, improving staff"s life, employees in the Center. Technology deployment activities are organized by the Center in many different forms: Linking with science and technology organizations, technology transfer, expert advice.

The past 5 years, though not a long way, are also a challenging journey for the High Technology Development Center. Along with the interest and direction of the leaders, the effort to do the best of the staffs in the Center promises to bring many new successes, contributing to the implementation of the industrialization, modernizing the country.
