2022 Trần Đại Nghĩa Award Council meets for second session

On March 26, 2022, at Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, the 2022 Trần Đại Nghĩa Award Council met for the second session, in order to evaluate and determine the award-winning works on the basis of reports on the results of excellent works submitted by specialized Science and Technology Councils.

Prof. Acad. Chau Van Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, chaired the meeting, with the participation of the members of the 2022 Trần Đại Nghĩa Award Council under Decision 161/QD-VHL dated January 28, 2022 of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology on the establishment of the Trần Đại Nghĩa Award Council in 2022, together with the chairmen of the specialized scientific council.

The Award Council highly appreciates the quality as well as the scope of applications of the works registered for the 2022 Trần Đại Nghĩa Award. Unlike other awards in science and technology at the State or ministerial level, the Trần Đại Nghĩa Award aims to encourage and honor individuals and scientists with outstanding achievements in natural science and technology, directly organized by that individual to deploy the application. The requirements of the Trần Đại Nghĩa Award are that the works must have great applicability, have a strong impact on the economy - society and ensure security - defense of the country.

After listening to the report on the work of the specialized scientific councils, the Award Council discussed, proposed and voted to agree on the selection of the awarding works. The results of the Award are expected to be announced in the upcoming Press Conference; The winning works will be honored at the Awards Ceremony taking place on May 20, 2022 at Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
