Since the first seminar in Dai Lai in 1997, the event has become an annual forum for researchers, teachers and managers in the field of information technology and communications to share experience in application and seek for cooperation. Especially, the seminar also encouraged young scientists and postgraduates to present their research results.

This was an opportunity for scientists from IIT, which established and is responsible for the professional seminar, to discuss problems related to organizing and content, in order to improve the quality of the seminar; and the IIT staff to show their respect and hospitality for the community of domestic scientists and international friends.

The seminar showed scientist"s attention to all fields related to global research in the sharing information in math models, database, calculation natural resources on the base of unified smart infrastructure, allowing normal calculation network to connect and participate in scientific research cooperation. The seminar received 117 reports selected from 160 registered ones nationwide, and five reports from leading experts from the US, France and Japan. Reports focused on activities of the IT community towards basic research, application, training and management of modern issues in the field of IT and communications such as cloud computing, language processing, knowledge technology, multimedia and embedded systems.

Through the seminar, the IIT and participating units aims to strengthen cooperation with scientists, managers, between universities and agencies for studies and management nationwide, and promote international cooperation in IT and communications.
